Privacy and Personal Data Protection Statement

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Dear customer,

Thank you for visiting MST Sudan (www.mstsudan.com). We (“MST”, “we”, “us” or “our”) are the authorized HONOR agent in the Republic of Sudan. We respect your privacy. This statement explains what data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights concerning it.

Scope of this statement

This statement applies to data collected by MST through www.mstsudan.com and its services, including contact forms, warranty checks and support center enquiries.

It does not apply to HONOR products, services, official websites, such as www.honor.com, or HONOR ID accounts. These are governed by HONOR’s privacy policy published on its official website. When you use those services, HONOR is responsible for processing your data within them.

1. What data do we collect?

Personal data is information that can identify a particular person on its own or together with other information, such as name, telephone number, email address or postal address. We may collect data in the following circumstances:

1.1 Data you provide directly

- When contacting us or submitting an enquiry, complaint or suggestion: your name, telephone number, email address and message content.

- When using warranty checks: device information you enter, such as a serial number or IMEI. Contact details needed to complete the request may also be requested.

- When participating in an activity, event or promotional campaign organized by MST: contact details necessary for participation.

1.2 Data collected automatically when you use the website

- Device and browser information: device type, operating system, browser type and version, language and time zone.

- Access information: IP address, visit time, pages viewed, number of visits and technical errors.

- Approximate location inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise location without your permission.

1.3 Data from other parties

Where permitted by law, we may obtain data from HONOR, authorized outlets and support centers as needed to provide warranty and support services, or from social media platforms when you contact us through them.

1.4 Non-identifying data

This is information that is not used to identify a particular person, such as visit and enquiry statistics. We collect it to understand and improve use of the website and services, and seek to keep it separate from your personal data.

2. Why do we process your data?

We process your data only for clear and specific purposes:

Responding to enquiries, requests and complaints.

Performing warranty checks, providing support and connecting you with the nearest support center.

Sending important notices about your request or service.

Informing you of offers, activities and new products where you consent.

Protecting website security and preventing fraud and misuse.

Analyzing website performance and improving your experience and our services.

Complying with legal and regulatory requirements.

If we need to use your data for an unrelated purpose, we will first seek your consent.

3. How do we share, transfer or disclose your data?

Service providers and partners: We may share data as needed with organizations that help operate the website and its services, such as authorized support centers and outlets, hosting, analytics and communications providers. We require confidentiality and appropriate data protection measures.

HONOR: We may share necessary data with HONOR or its affiliates for warranty, technical support and product verification, to the extent needed to provide the service.

Transfers with your consent: We may transfer data to other parties after your express consent. If a merger, acquisition or restructuring involves a data transfer, we will notify you and require the recipient to comply with this statement.

Official authorities: We may disclose data at the request of competent authorities or as required by law.

Other cases: We may share data in any other manner permitted by law or authorized by you.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third parties

When your data is held by an independent third party, such as HONOR’s official website, social media platforms or another linked website, it is governed by that party’s policies. We recommend reading those policies before using its services, as we do not control its practices.

5. How can you control your data?

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights:

Access, correction and deletion: You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold about you. We may verify your identity to protect your data and may refuse inappropriate requests, such as repetitive requests or those that could infringe others’ rights.

Withdrawal of consent: You may withdraw earlier consent at any time. We may then be unable to continue the associated services. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

Unsubscribing: You may stop promotional messages at any time through the link in the message or by contacting us.

To exercise these rights, email Info@mstsudan.com.

6. How do we protect your data?

We are committed to protecting data under applicable security standards and take the following measures:

Collecting only the data needed for the specified purposes and keeping it only as long as necessary, unless law requires longer retention.

Using appropriate technical safeguards, including encryption in transit where possible and protection of servers against attacks.

Restricting access to authorized employees on a need-to-know basis.

Selecting business partners and service providers carefully and requiring them to protect data.

Raising employee awareness of privacy and data protection.

However, no security measures are infallible and no internet transmission is entirely secure. If a security incident affects your personal data, we will notify you under applicable legal requirements, explaining the incident, its potential impact, our response and recommended steps. Notice may be sent by email, text message or a website announcement.

7. Protection of minors

Minors are persons under eighteen unless applicable law specifies otherwise. We do not knowingly collect minors’ data without express guardian consent and process it in accordance with law and best practices. If you believe we are processing a minor’s data otherwise, please contact Info@mstsudan.com.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies, web beacons and local storage technologies to operate the website, improve your experience and analyze usage. Full details and controls are available in our Cookie Policy.

Do Not Track: Some browsers offer a Do Not Track feature. There is currently no unified standard for handling these requests, so enabling it does not change our data collection practices, although we reserve the right to respond and stop collection without prior notice.

9. How do we store your data?

We keep your data no longer than necessary for the purposes in this statement or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.

Data may be stored or processed by service providers outside Sudan, such as hosting or analytics providers, or by HONOR and its affiliates abroad. In these cases, we seek appropriate measures to ensure a comparable level of protection.
